Tiger sharks are commonly listed as the shark second most responsible for attacks on man. Although most attacks in Hawaii are attributed to tiger sharks, and tiger shark attacks are more likely to be fatal than an attack by a great white, you still are more likely to die by falling down a set of stairs.
